Going to Globe

Going to Globe tomorrow, Thursday January 17, for lunch. Anyone want to ride out with Mark and I?

May be Scott will chime in with the name of that mexican place he likes. Was it Irene's or Chalo's?

Sorry guys, I'd go but I have to work. The name of the restaurant is Irene's. It's toward the far end of town on the left hand side of the road, near where you turn to go to Show Low.

Heads up, there are several speed cameras in the Miami-Globe area.

Do you know the overage they allow? The one on Shea out by me allows 9-10 over. I keep at no more than 5 over.

You mean you'd rather work than ride?

No, but I do like to get paid regularly.

I don't know how much leeway they give you in these small towns. I think they give you 10 MPH over, but I wouldn't try it.

Well, we still have to go to that place in Tucson that was on Man vs Food. Or was it Diners, Drive ins and Dives?

Man v Food. I've eaten there twice, it's pretty good.

I assume you mean the Mexican Restaurant where President Clinton dined, right? It's called "Mi Nidito".

Yeah, that and there was a hotdog place too, that looked interesting. Either way, it would be a good lunch run.

OK, most of my riding is comprised of running around doing chores. I still like the option of going for a ride just to go for a ride. At least "year round riding" here is lots more comfortable than it was in Washington State.

Yeah, Iowa winters made it rough to ride too. LI wasn't so bad weather wise, but the traffic sucked.

I would have enjoyed riding with you guys, but I have a job interview. Keep me in mind for the next ride you decide to go on.
Hope you have a good ride.
