Stock Exhaust Installation

I'm switching my Nomad back to stock from V&H and was wondering if anyone had any tips or trick for doing this? I'm going to assume that the goat belly goes on first and then work out from there. Any help would be much appreciated. Bill

I have done this job twice. My tip would be to leave everything loose until all parts are put on. I would start the tightening at the engine and work my to the back. Might want to use some anti-seize on the bolts in case you need to do the job again. I am sure others will have some good tips.

Yup antiseize everything and include that on the rubber hangars all sides that contact the frame and or bolts. With everything loose as BilMac says, wrap each main part with your heel of a fist to 'settle' the parts then with everything installed and all wrap sharply or shaken you can begin to tighten things Evenly.

Be sure there is antiseize on the head studs too. Everything......
