Biker Gets Rear Ended And Lands On Feet Helmet Cam

In our little "incident" in September, I did the flying monkey for about 15 feet before landing on my feet.
I didn't have a video or kill the @#$%^> driver. I have to go with MarkG. He must have been thinking, *** don't make a statement *** get the information *** Hire an attorney *** $$$ ***

I'm certain that the rider had a shock of his life. It might have been awhile before he reacted...

Nevertheless, one cannot be careful enough when riding in urban areas.

I developed a habit of checking my mirrors before stopping and always look for escape routes, should there be trouble ahead of me...

One of the first thing you learn in "defensive driving courses"

I've thought about this, and I think he was better off not knowing he was going to get smacked. Being in a relaxed state in a situation like this is better.

For the first couple of minutes I would be in shock. I'd be saying to myself am I all right. I don't believe I'd be thinking about clobbering that woman. Then when I calmed down from the shock I'd have a few words for her.

She didn't do it on purpose (unless she was a little sick) and I'll bet by that time she was in tears.

I think what I'm saying is that her reaction to what she did would determine how aggressive I'd be.

I would however be taken to the hospital by ambulance to get checked out for the littlest pain.

This is concidered a high velocity impact in my business (won't get into details there) he would be collared, boarded (we use a mattress here) monitored and O2 to the trauma center.... and here we could smack someone and swear like it's going out of style because we have no fault = no lawsuits, just because it would make me feel better

Even I wouldn't hit a woman, but I would have been plenty mad.

A few years ago, some clown changed lanes without looking into my Pontiac on a freeway on ramp. I did everything I could to avoid it, short of rolling down the embankment to my left. He hit me on the passenger side from the wheel well forward. I got out and unleashed a barrage of expletives on him that would have made my Marine drill instructor proud. He got back in his vehicle, rolled up the window and locked the door until the DPS officer showed up.

Guy was lucky, that bike came to pieces.

I got hit sitting in a parked car, engine off, and I was in the passanger seat. The car was out of the paint shop 2 days too. I was speechless, and all I could do was growel.

Regardless of fault, no reason to hit the woman. That is just how real men should act.
