Speading the Love

I met another Nomad owner today and ended up riding about 100 miles with him after work tonight! I passed him in my work truck about lunch today and chased his ass down... !!

I had ridden my bike to work and invited him to join me for a ride after work if he could make it. I was pleasantly pleased to see his bike sitting there when I pulled into my shop near quitting time... !

He name is Lonnie and he lives in Edmonds. Lonnie has a super clean (stickers still on the bags) 2006 Green/Cream Dream Machine...mostly stock but really, really nice!!

I gave him all the KawaNOW info and we traded personal info as well. He's about my age and really a super nice guy. Let's hope for another new member here soon!

Way to go Kris. I've run into so many Nomad owers that it amazes me. Like yourself, I've chased a few of them down and talked to them. Told them all about KawaNOW and so far none have joined.

Guess I'm just not a very good salesman.

I don't think too many of my attempts have worked either so far. I'm not sure why more Nomad riders don't get as excited about this site as we do. There is just so much to learn and share here. Oh well....we'll see.....

Uh....I think Kris might be a borderline Level 3 Nomad Stalker....he has to register with the Sheriff's office and he is considered mostly likely to be a repeat offender.

If he ever installs blue lights on his light bar....look out!

LMAO.... ! Our City mechanics are forever working on our HD Police bikes...(I mean come on....they're HD's)... ;)! I'll bet I could come up with a couple blue lights for my auxilliaries if I really wanted.... ;)! The PD might not see the humor in that though.... :-/!

Kris, I can talk to my contact in the WPS to see about amnesia.... amnesty .... something like that. You might have to relocate to Burbank but you would be able to run blue, red and green lights all you wanted.

I met and talked with another Nomad rider today. Nice retired guy. Unfortunately he has no computer....so no email or ability to join KawaNOW. I did at least get his phone number...
