Went for a ride today!

60m.p.h. winds so riding was a no go.

Hey Schoeney....glad you got out. I sported about a bit today myself...probably only a couple hours worth...but enough to get a fix....

!

I bought one of those suction cup temperature gauges and put it on my windshield. It works great....but over the course of my last 300 miles has mostly been reading 40 to 45...

On another note....I got my Tour Pack from Premeux and it looks great. It was super easy to install (20 minutes)...and is really nice, but I'm missing my passenger seat. I sent my pillion pad back to Mustang for some warranty work. The mounting tab on the rear of the seat does not stick out far enough...so it is almost impossible to put in the bolt. I should have it back in a couple weeks or less.

I will take some photos of the Tour Pack install and post them on the main board when I get my seat back as it looks kinda funny without it. It hasn't kept me from riding it like that though... ;)!

Kari and I took Scarlett out for a little ride and had a real blast. There are some great roads around here!!! I hope that some others were able to enjoy the quick break in the weather.

Starting to get busy with baseball stuff here. We are having our District 1 Umpire Clinic this weekend, so I am busy there as an instructor.

I did get my GPS mounted and hard-wired into the headlight bucket...very nice addition

. I know I said no more mods after that for awhile, but alas...I think I in fact will soon add a K&N filter and a Dynojet Power Commander III USB fuel processor.

Once that gets installed....it will be time to finally just put some miles on the road! Spring is in the air boys....
