Wheel changeover 2007 Nomad 1600

Anybody done something like that? I know about the HD front wheel conversion...haven't found much else by searching...

Meanstreak wheels? Looks like most of the items are the same part number...would have to compare axles, though...

Any other choices for front and rear options?

The only frugal option is to fit a Harley front wheel.
I don't see much point in changing the rear wheel on a Nomad.
You can barely see it with the bags on.

Check the bearing sizes, that's the key.

What the 'MAS' Said! Only real option here is the Street glide front wheels. 19"/21" are ok. 23" is getting tight on the front. Anything over 23", its best to go to raked trees for clearence on the front wheel/fender....
If you wisely shop around, theres plenty of custom front wheel pickins for the streetglide, which is a easy swap on for the Nomads.....
Just readup on VulcanScotts notes....he tells ya how its done!

On a 1600, a V2K front wheel, or a front wheel off any 1700 is a direct swap, you can use everything off the 1600 on any of the above wheels. I've had all them, and am currently running a wheel from a Voyager.

The Nomad and Meanie rear wheels are a direct swap.

As far as that 21”, the Meanie runs a 17” front wheel.

Check the hub width and bearing sizes on the 21”, but if it was run on a Meanie it will run on a Nomad.

But check the rotor spacing first, I think it works on the 1600s but not the 15’s without some fab work.
