New Member From Florida

Hello All,
My name is Gary & I live in central Florida. I'm picking up my new "To me" 2014 Vaquero se tomorrow. Been looking at Vaqueros for a while & decided to go for it. I currently ride a 2012 Kawasaki Concours 1400 that I bought new. I love the bike but it's very tall & top heavey. I also have a 1984 Honda V65 Magna & a 1986 Honda V65 Magna. I've come to the point where I want to do more long distance trips & I think a Tourer/Cruiser will serve me best. I eventually want to sell off all the other bike & just have the Vaquero. The bike I'm buying is extra clean & has 21,000 mles on it. I'm paying $10,000 for it which seems like a decent price for this area.

1st thing I'm going to do is pull the ECU & see if there is an Ivan's label on it. If not I'll send him my ECU soon !

I've had the bike for almost 3 weeks now. I'm getting the accesories out of the way early. So far I've bought a Wompus rack, Adjustable drivers backrest, clearview windshield, Saddle Shields heat shields, 12v powerport, Kawasaki GPS Garmin mount, Powered Cell phone mount and a Tire pressure monitor system. I'm now shopping for a tour pack & going to pull the trigger on the driving light kit soon. I installed the Kawasaki GPS Garmin mount today & installed my Garmin 665, I love how the GPS works with the factory stereo system. All my music on the GPS now plays threw the bikes system & can control the volume with the handlebar controls !. It's greast how Kawasaki thought ahead & put all the connectors in the fairing for the GPS, Power & Ground connections & extra connectors for other accesories. On my Concours 1400 & other bikes I always had to add a fuse block off the battery & then run power & ground wires from the fuse block to anywhere I was installing accesories. I checked the ECU & there are no markings, labels or stickers saying it's been flashed so an Ivans flash is on the list. I'm really loving this bike !

Yet another welcome from Minnesota. Wish I had the chance to own a V65. May still get one some day. Just to experience one.
