I got the signal and brake smoked lenses from Clear Alternatives - they look great on a black bike, I also think they reduce my visability to the vehicle behind me.

Well...that's a plus! ::) They do look nice, though.

Wow CJ from the back that thing could be the knight rider bike. That looks great! except for maybe at night. How much does it darken the lights?

mikesth , WHY, would you want to REDUCE your visibility ???
Do you have a suicide mission and WANT to get run over from behind ::)

I Don't want to reduce my visability - that's why they aren't on the bike anymore...I kept the LED inserts that were included, but changed the lenses back.

In short - I don't recomend the smoke lenses. > BOO! <

It's my bike and thanks - the LED's show through ok when the brake is applied or the signal is on - IMHO, there is not enough light transferred when it's just running lights and no brake application

In addition I also run Purple LED's (lots) all over the bike and especially between the bags and fender under the separators. The Bike is lit up well at night and the LED's increase my visibility.

That's too bad. Those smoked lenses give the bike a real badass look. Unfortunately the trade off is reduced visibility.

Sorry, I guess I misinterpreted you post. It sounded like you were glad it reduced your visibility.

hey fellers my bikes all black and l went for the clear lenses with orange globes for the blinkers and it really seems to clean up the bike without loosing visibility, at first glance the front ones look like little spotlights

Agreed...

I still like my answer for the front though and I havn't seen anyone else with the same set-up. LED strips are bright and address the side as well (click the picture to show movie)
