E,
As you know I have plans for this weekend but..... do take the ride out of Sumas. A far better ride in my opinion. I've done it many times. You'll be going right past my" cabin". I'm in Campers Paradise.... there is a sign on your right as you go up Kendall Rd.
Have a great time.

I would love to join you, but I'll be down in Aberdeen fishing the Chehalis River for big coho and chinook salmon this weekend!

i understand, what is better than a fresh caught and grilled piece of salmon with a glass of favorite white.

Gonna grill coho fillets [store-bought] tonite myself.

Enjoy!

Slept in and did a shorter ride than planned. Lunch at a Monroe Mexican restaurant was OK.

HWY 9 is really a very nice ride until you get to Arlington. Arlington south to HWY 2 on HWY 9 is kinda too busy and there are few traffic lights that interrupt the ride.

Hi Rick, hope you had a good time with family and friends. I took your advice and rode HWY 9, really nice road.

Hope to ride with you another time.

Elvis,
I should have warned you that Hwy 9 south of Arlington is fugly. The best part as you now know is from north of there....
