The good stories outnumber the bad by far. Good cop stories are seldom posted here similar to stories of concealed carriers saving lives of innocents isn't reported by the mainstream media. There are many good active and retired officers that frequent this forum who will be happy to read this one. Thanks for sharing.

Can we start posting something else?
Like accountants saving companies or accountants embezzeling companies into bankruptcy?

I don't discuss politics or religion as all of you that have read my posts should know by now.

The content of the post was fine when the person was being save from choking but once the piece about the person being choked to death was added it wasn't fine anymore.

If you don't like the content of the post you don't have to read it just as many of you have said to other posters on this forum. Just skip over it. It's not a big deal.

Good luck with that line of thinking and rationalization.... that's how the Political board evolved...some people could not control their mouse's clicking on subjects they didn't want to read...

I've been around long enough to know what should be over looked and
when some one has to say something. Thus, I asked if we could not have
anymore good cop / bad cop postings. It is not new news, as I've already
seen the man die on the sidewalk. I was pissed that the police didn't pay
attention to what was happening to him. There will probably be a lawsuit.
We have many LEO's that have joined this motorcycle forum in search of
like minded individuals. I think that we need to get back to being a friendly
motorcycle forum. This is my opinion and if you don't like it you don't have
to read it. Gerry

This is the off topic section and the post wasn't geared toward the good ot the bad but both.

You are entitled to your opinion. I don't have to like your opinion or agree with it but will respect it.

As far as telling me what subject to post in an off topic discussion I don't think it's your position to do that. As I statedbefore if you don't like the content skip over it.

I'm sure if Mac was posting this you wouldn't have told him not to.

I wish that everyone would stop posting these cop threads as this is a bike forum. Try to keep off topic discussions on a more neutral topic please. There is no need for them to be posted here. Some members find these threads to be pushing the line, and offensive. We all have different tastes and limits, and what is acceptable to some is not by others.
That being said if you don't like the topic of a thread, move on and ignore it, there are thousands of threads here, and no reason to spend time on one you have no interest in or agree with.

Advice please.

On most other forum,s the off topic is just what it say,s, i am new here compared with most, and i have fallen foul of some of the older member,s who dont agree with me on various subject,s, does that mean that my views,s are invalid, irrelevant, or is it just that they cant accept another point of view, and want to squash any discussion . That very discussion
is what keeps us separate from some of the animals that we have to live with, and to deny that right to me and others is nothing less than selective censoring. Is there any place on this site where people are allowed to speak freely ?

Please forgive my wording in my post. I didn't say stop posting this stuff, I asked.
You can post whatever you want on this forum, the Admin will draw the line.
I am a member just like the rest of you, no worse and no better. We all are equal here.
I have been skipping over the post that have this kind of content, and will continue that.
As far as macmac, I told him to put the hatchet away.
I hope we can meet in Lincoln and you will see that all is cool. Gerry
