Battle of the Twins,....with baggage?

How about a 2-up class, racing with a riding partner. Kind of like the sidecar monkey.

Maybe a "weekend trip" class with about 15 lbs in each saddlebag.

Oh, oh, a Pizza and Beer Run class! Most frozen pizzas and beer cases in the bags as a handicap class.

Racing lounge chairs. They can barely turn a corner at normal speeds. Before you know it someone will be out there trying to make a Nomad turn. Heaven forfend.

Actually, I kinda surprised how well my Classic 1600 handles. Wouldn't take much for Kawasaki to have blended a Mean Streak and Nomad to make a hot bagger.

Ha,..there's a term, hot bagger.

I you haven't been to the Barber museum it's worth a trip for that alone. I've been there as part of a work trip to the area.

Was visiting a friend there in Stone Mountain about 1 1/2 years ago, he said something about it. I'll have to stop in and see it next time I'm in the area.
Used to love staying the night at a good friend of my dads, he was a HD Mechanic, too.
He and his wife live in little 5 Points, we used to go to Dugans and get like 4 or 5 big orders of buffalo wings, and a case of beer. Then back to the house.... We'd sit all night, eat and drink, talk about bikes, old road trips our group used to take, and how much I absolutely HATED the V-Rods!
Saw one in Daytona, (2017), guy completely redid his, with a dual bagger style exhaust, big rounded bags on the rear with a Batwing fairing.....it looked great!. But the stockers didn't look like a hd, didn't sound like a hd, and they looked odd in my opinion....
Set up as a bagger it looked cool if you did it right....

Damn shame, if the metric v-twins had the speed equip. the HDs & Indians have.....the big metrics coulda been out there smoking the track up! The big Vulcans always handled great.

Gotta remember, the big metrics are what caused HD to go to the 90+ cu.in. engines (late 90s-early 2000s) cause they didn't have the beans to run all day, every day, loaded to the brim with touring gear like the kawa/honda/yama/suzuki 1500+ models....just sayin....

Absolutely accurate. Guys want to act like the 103 is this big badass and it would've been had they launched it in 97 but they had been putting out the same shit from 80-2000 and it got old cost them control of the market I don't like harley at all over priced under engineered pile of scrap
