Very nice looking but my 32" inseam wouldn't work with that seat.

I have trouble with the stock seat and have read that the RDL is wider requiring you to scoot forward to flat foot when you stop.

I had a Daylong seat on my Voyager. I have a 30 inch inseam and had no issues.

I was wrong on my inseam, I have a 30" so that is very promising that you had no issues. Did you notice any difference from the stock seat to the Daylong for flat footing when stopped?

Sorry I don't remember, I sold the Voyager in 2014. Whatever issues I did have it did not deter me from riding the bike nor did it get me in any oh s**t moments because of the seat.

The front of the Daylong is very narrow, so while the rear of the seat looks wide, once you get used to dropping your legs down in front of the wider part of the seat to put your feet down - it actually feels a lot lower than what it really is. When your feet are down, you're straddling that narrow tongue of the seat.

My Daylong seat feels a lot easier to put my feet down than my Mustang.

I had them raise me up due to my large size and give me more room for my legs to the floor boards. Both knees have been replaced. In other words to take out the sway back mule effect of the factory seat shape. I'm a 30 inch inseam and it is impossible for me to flat foot at the front of the seat. They widened the seat and made it support way up under the legs. Great traveling seat, comfortable just don't do it justice, but hard on me at stops. 2 up would be a mistake. All that was my choose though.
