I've never been one,,,,,, until now. Given it a try. I am getting older and things are starting to show their age. With that said, I am starting to take longer rides to multiple states alone and with friends with small saddlebags. I don't stay in one place more than a day. It just will make it easier to carry things I want/need to have with me. CPAP for one thing takes major room in saddle a bag or the trunk. Rain gear or a leather coat,, lots of room. Also my group does flag lines for Veterans funerals, Escort to the airport for troop deployments and returns, and other services and someone has to drive a vehicle that can carry our flag bags. I can put it in the trailer. I don't intend to pull it around town for show or to the Lowes for 2x4's. Just when its needed.

Hey Chuck. You can be a lot more comfortable, when camping with a few luxuries. I sleep on top of the trailer, and among other things, i carry my own shitter & shower.
So no climbing up off the ground, and trying to find somewhere for a piss in the night.

Believe me when I say it is. I ride with a high vis shirt in warmer weather and a high vis coat until leather is required. I have a device that makes my headlight flash/strobe when on high beam and in daylight. I have extra marker lights on the rear. I always make sure people look at me twice or I'm on the brakes.

We had a man that rides with myself and my buds often go down today. He rides daily on a chromed out Harley with only the one light on front. Guy hauling a trailer loaded with hay pulled out in front of him on a 4 lane road. I told him once before I couldn't make him out when meeting him on the road. I told him he needed a strobe ,,,he laughed and said not on a Harley. Broken leg, crushed foot, Major road rash.

I can see you laid that out for ease of use. Looks good!

That dumb farmer, would probably have pulled out in front of a police car. But i take your point. I built the trailer to suit my needs. I can sit alongside anywhere on the road, in the rain, or the shade. And within 5 minutes, be cooking a steak, while getting a shower.

Damn Nice setup there Mick.
I started something like that, but wanted a teardrop to build. Weight for me became an issue due to the solid steel frame of my current trailer. Old Harbor freight 48" x 40" ( 122cm x 101cm ) and short tongue.

Now I carry a DD Tarp and cordage. Bushcraft style like the "English Woodsman" on u-tube

Thank you. I really enjoyed building it. It occupied my thoughts full time, for about 2 months. It was great, pulling up on a campsite, and watching peoples faces as i set up. I would pass out cold beers, to anyone who came over to have a look. Before long, i would have the bbq going, and the sounds bouncing, and a party had materialised. Brilliant.

2 minutes to midnight here. Happy new year to you, and anyone else reading this.

And a happy new year to you too Mick! 4.15pm on New Years day down here, and a scorcher of a day it's been... We're just back from a stroll down to the beach.

Happy New year to all.

Not sure I'd paint the OP's trailer. Maybe make the bike match the trailer?

Seriously, nice trailer, your boss did you a solid.

Congratulations,
Smokier

Must be some DAMN fine rubber there. Looks like they're holding the trailer on a 90* incline. I want some of those.
