I probably would lean toward the newer 07' with extended warranty. That being said, about the 01' having a 5 gallon tank, in 2001 the Nomad came in a carbed version with a 4.2 gallon tank and a fuel injected version (2-tone paint) with a 5 gallon tank. I almost got the FI version, but liked the color of the luminous vintage red carbed version and got it instead. Have enjoyed my 01' for the past 9 years. Either of these 3 choices would put a big ole smile on your face!
BTW, Welcome to the forum from Georgia!

Welcome from Central Louisiana. If you have not decided yet, I say ride the two 07 models and select the one that feels right. You will know.

Nothing wrong with doing your own customizing..... with the low miles, Its a toss up between the 05 and 07. Good luck!
