It is 1100 miles to this one. We will be there.

Scott has had foot problems requiring surgery. Hopefully he’ll be healed up by then.

It’s over 1700 miles from here I think.

I know that. I PM Scott from time to time to check up on him.
Just have bust on him once in awhile

With my wife's illness and her inability to ride too many days in a row I was forced to buy a trailer. I hope I can get my steed to cooperate when I have to load it in the trailer.

I'll be in the area for the rally. I have a house in the area so it literally is off the end of that driveway.
I'll put together some great combination of roads for various types of riding, so attendees will have a choice whether they wish to ride-hard, or roll along at a more leisurely pace.
The area doesn't have the rockies, or the grand canyon, water-falls, nor even hills as high as NC; but the roads within the 19,000 sq. miles are all hilly and full of curves; thanks to the fact the glaciers surrounded the area but never scoured it flat. There literally isn't a straight road in the area.
One big issue on planning routes is that they just had a record flood in the area two weeks ago that literally wiped out some road and bridges; not to mention several land slides screwing things up a bit. WDOT and the county officials told me they plan to have many of them fixed by next June, but I am sure a few will not be done by then. We'll have some alternate routes for those areas if needed.
Hope a lot of you show-up for this.

Mindoro Cut, Wildcat Mountain and the River Road itself make it worth the while for those that haven't been to the area before. After attending over 10 VROC rallies in the area at the same time of year over the last 20 years, I will probly pass on this one. Have fun.

Oh wow, I rode that area a few years back and loved it! Enjoy the rally, all! I wish I could attend.

Cool. I don't know my riding future after the back surgery and I used up all my time for FMLA. Had none of that happened, I had wanted to get out next year.

I had already promised my wife that I would only do one MC trip in 2019, and I had planned on that being Antlers. Now, it looks like I won't be riding again for a while and certainly not by June. I doubt that I will be ready for a long trip by the time Antlers comes around, though I do hope to be riding again by then. Maybe.

I have a procedure coming up that will keep me off the bike for a couple of months, then I'm looking at total shoulder replacement shortly after that. The bone spurs in my shoulder have gotten so bad, I can't handle the bike now. They more than doubled in size since last year. The two long trips (8500 miles total) this summer probably didn't help.

Gonna add a bit more SeaFoam to the tank and run it to distribute it on the next warm day, then put her into hibernation.

I wish I could make this rally, but it ain't gonna happen, sigh.
