My condolences. Brad has to know that as his Dad moved on, one of his last thoughts was how much he loved his Son.

This is a sad fact of life that happens to us all Brad. The older we get it seems as if something like this would be easier to handle, but it's not. I've tried so hard over the years to think of words and ways to console friends and new acquaintances when they've lost a loved one.
My Mom has already passed, and I dread the day when my Daddy goes. I mourned her for nearly two years as best I can remember. Now, when I think about her and the fun we had along with fussing I smile with misty eyes. Sometimes I find myself laughing. So you have that to look forward to. It'll make you feel good again. The quicker you get to that point, you're going to feel much better, I guarantee you. May your Dad rest in peace Brad.

Sorry to hear about your dad Brad. My dad passed 2 years ago, and it does get easier as time goes by. Condolences to you and your family.
