Where is everyone...??

I check the NW page every chance I get and there seems to be very little going on here. I know there HAS to be more NW guys than just the few who post regularly.

I know we are at the end of our prime riding season, the Mariners sucked, the Huskies suck worse and even the Seahawks are sucking bad... :'(. This is no reason to hang your head fellas, thats why they make alchohol and Viagra!

I for one am just getting busy with the fall salmon season in the Grays Harbor rivers. Recent rains have brought the rivers up and they are filling with giant King salmon and I write this... . From now until late November I will be "Rippin' Lips"... .

I will post some pics over the course of the next few weeks to show you what I'm talkin' 'bout... . Chime in and let us know what you're up to.

Next summer we need to plan a get-together for the NW guys. Maybe meet up for a three or four day run through Montana/Idaho or something like that. It would be fun to meet everyone and ride as the Northwest Nomads! Let me know if that interests anyone....

i check the northwest site at least once a week but haven't seen
much of interest being talked about.i kind of feel like the lone
ranger here in wyoming as i believe i am the only member.i am
hoping that some of you will go to the rally in custer so that we
can meet.you would pretty much have to ride right thru my home
area to get there.

You guys are right, we are a sparse bunch and not very wordy at that. We are expecting several inches of snow here in Poky this weekend. At least I can concentrate on fly fishing now that I will have to put the Nomad away.

Hi Guys,

I am up for some NW rides when the time comes! I would sure like the Custer ride...but that is a big time commitment. I need to work as much as possible. It is hard to forecast such a big chunk of time this far ahead. Especially when I haven't taken the wife anywhere for awhile and she only likes riding on the bike on short rides...which is fine by me as I prefer 1 up.

If I go to Custer it will be a last minute decision.

Ride safe and hope the weatherman is right about the weather this weekend./

I was just browsing the member list and was shocked to see there are 19 members (YES....19!) from Washington State alone, 3 from Oregon and 6 from Idaho...!! Where are all the rest of you guys... :-/? Rksaw, schoeney, rickyboy, landman, Big John, Idaho (High Plains Drifter) and myself can't do all the heavy lifting... . Chime in here so we can get this region rolling!

Cheers....Kris

I'm here. If the raid isn't too bad this weekend, up for a ride either Sat or Sun? I think that Nancy is working so I'll be free to play.

We've got rain on the forecast through the weekend, but I hope that you are able to get out for a couple hours John.

I'm hoping that we have a little let up between showers either Saturday afternoon or Sunday. Nancy's working both days. The forecast is looking ugly, really ugly.

I saw where Deadwood received 45 inches of snow with 70 mph winds.
I'm in Houston all this week, so it's warmer here than I'm used to for this time of year. :-/

Yeah, it's about time. Lived there from 65 - 72, and haven't been back since. When I left, Pony Village was basically a strip mall.
I need to plan a ride up there. Or a job. Seems like I work all over the country, but have never done a job in the Pacific Northwest. :-/

Don't worry, I'm working on it...Hauser needs an update for their sound system, and when they do, I'm going to have them call you in!
