I was trying to find a picture of a big foot, similar to the one for the Colorado Avalanche. That was my thought. Do you have any ideas?

You know, we could show an outline of mountains. That is what the PNW is known for. Forget Sasquatch. He won't care.

A ridgeline or single mountain? The advantage of the ridgeline is that it doesn't signify one particular state; a single mountain might look better or be easier to use as a logo. IMHO.

A ridgeline perhaps with a larger peak in the middle would work. We could mottle it somehow to mimic trees. Perhaps a splash of blue across the bottom to represent a stream, we sure have an abundance of those also.

As our own little inside joke we could put a hang glider with a small figure underneath to repersent the hang gliding sasquatch. That would be fun.

Not to discount the other states in the NW region...but either Mt. Rainier....or even Mt. St. Helens, are both very recognizable features that would be great representatives of the entire NW region. Just a thought.... :-/

Baker, Rainier, St Helens, Adams or Hood. All are recognizable as volcanic, endemic to the PNW, and it should be fairly easy to generate a "generic" line drawing. Or, that big A** fish you're holding.

One of the difficulties of getting PNWers together for a ride would be all the fish stories that will be told at the end of the day!

Personally...as a retired long-time salmon and steelhead fishing guide...I have forgotten more good fish stories than most people even know.... ...!!! However, there are a few that are most memorable and are likely to come to the forefront of any conversation.... ;).

I am all for getting the NW riders together somewhere next spring/summer....that would be awesome!

Cheers...Kris

Hey Guys,

I apologize. I missed the vote. I always forget to check my region forum. Northwest Nomads sounds great. How about Sasquatch riding a Nomad? I don't have any artistic skills so you don't want me to draw it up. What ever the group decides works for me ....mountains, volcanoes, fish, spotted owl...I am easy.
