got my EJK in today, I started .5 down from supplied settings, except for #4 which I set to 1

punched out exhaust and homemade Big air

I run the EJK on my bike. Not sure what you mean about #4. That would be the point at which the unit starts to add fuel on the green fuel (pilot circuit). I found that I had to bump everything up from the recommended settings to get the bike to run better. With the stock settings I didn't notice much difference in performance, but after bumping things up a tad I now average between 38-42 mpg and it runs much better. That's up around 3-4 mpg from what it was stock.

I was refering to the green/blue... from the EJK this was set to 6.. everything I read this needs to be at or near one

also on my other settings, I dropped them by a half point...
what I am starting with:

G -- 2
y -- 3
R -- 1
G/B -- 1 (instead of 6)
Y/B -- 2
R/B -- 3
