any computer techs out there, if so email me. i have been having this problem for about 3 months now and driving me nuts, tried just about everything possible

windows. have no usb ports and no printer, videos are too fast and sounds like the chipmunks have landed

Last time I had problems. I had the kid next door come over. He fixed it real fast, when I asked what the problem was he told me it was an ID Ten T error. Of course I didn't know what that ment, he told me to wright it down, then I figured it out! That is probably not your problem, I am a little slow when it comes to computers.

I am a Mac guy so I wouldn't be of a lot of help. You could try a google search.

did that but no luck, thing is i have a very nice, expensive one sitting next to me but i cant extract any files from my old one to put in this other one, ie: pics, work related files, all my folders etc. so i sort of screwed until i get this one fixed which is like a catch 22

I take it the operating system is hosed on the old one? If so you need BartPE for windows. It allows you to boot to it and browse the files and in many cases you can copy them of to a usb drive or a network share.
