1500 vs 1600 fenders

Are there any differences between the 1500 fenders and the 1600 fenders?

The reason I ask is because there seems to be fender tips specifically for the 1600 and 1500. Whats the difference?

I know that the rear fender is shaped differently, not sure about the front.

Width, probably. When are you going to update your sig pictures with photos of the new bike?

The rear fender is defiantly different. I have the National Cycle fender tips (3 piece set), and the front 2 was listed for either the 1500, or 1600. The rear fender had different part #s for the 1500 and 1600. So I think it would be safe to assume the front fenders are the same, as far as fender tips go.

The 1600 has a different shape, more than the ft, but the ft has a differnt way to be mounted, and the trim won't swap from 1500 to 1600.

The 1500 has a nice wide, fairly flat fender on both the front and the rear; makes the mud flaps fit really well and stay on with Velcro. The 1600, both front and rear are a bit narrow because they are pointier. I haven't put a set of mud flaps on a 1600 but I will be soon and I'm probably going to have to use screws to mount the flaps.

Is there anyone that owns a 1600 and 1500 that could take a side by side picture?

I don't have pics comparing them, but here is a couple of links to National Cycle showing the fender tips. I have a friend with an '03, and he has the same front tips as my 1600. Click the numbers for the links.......

That first picture of the rear tip for a 1600 is a Suzuki, not a Nomad. It is either a C50 or C90.

Utah, just look at your picture in your signature and the one in CycleCats signature. It will give you an idea of the difference.
