2000 Nomad 1500 for sale

2000 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1500 w/ approximately 55k miles. I am the second owner, and this bike has been meticulously taken care of. Always stored inside, never been down, and never been in the rain. Custom jet black/white pearl paint job, Fiberglass bags, cobra backrest, V&H Bagger dual exhaust (sound fantastic), Kuryakyn ISO Grips (Not pictured), Throttle Boss (Not pictured), highway pegs (Not pictured) windshield pouch, custom cut inlay to replace the false air filter on left side of the bike, new Pirelli rear tire, fresh oil change, new battery. Dont really have an asking price, so if interested, make an offer. I will try to update pictures soon to show the grips and highway pegs. Email with any offers or questions. Please put "Vulcan" in the subject line to weed out spam. Thanks for looking.

Nice looking bike. But I do have one question, how do you have a bike with 55,000 miles and have never ridden in the rain? I want to go on a bike trip with you :-)

So I have a question for you. Since this is your first post. Do you plan on sticking around here after you sell your bike or is this a one shot deal?

She's a beaut. Since I am from Michigan originally, I have to ask the no rain riding question too. As I recall, it rains a whole bunch in Michigan.

Price-wise even though it's in excellent shape and has some cool stuff on it, I think it'd be in the $3000 - $4000 range. Typically accessory money and even customer paint to a degree is a goner on re-sale and doesn't affect the price much.

I paid $3950 for my 99 with 5,240 miles on it two years ago (loaded with fire and steel stuff) and I paid too much.

Good luck with the sale.

Thanks Danimal2 for the picture. Most people trying to sell a bike post several pics with the ad. I thinks he has us confused with Craigslist. As for the rain, maybe he rides it inside on the dyno.

Why fiberglass bags? I'm pretty sure my '01 bags are some kind of plastic. That seems like a real high dollar mod with no more do-dads than it has.
Thanks for your time

When I bought my Nomad I had to drive it across Florida from Ft Meyers to Sebastian and went through a crazy Florida torrential thunderstorm w lightning striking on the side of the road and thunder so loud it scared the shit outta me. Had my mp3 on and rode right through it loving every minute of it. My bike knows rain and likes it
