Before I buy highway pegs, what is the diameter of the crash guards?
I want to make sure I buy the right ones.
Thanks, Bill

Why would you put hiway pegs on the rear crashbars?

So you can ride it like a sportbike. It's easier to drag your knees in the twisties. ;)

Actually, my wife has about the shortest legs you'll see on a full-grown woman, and she fits to the rear floorboards just fine.

The engine guards/crash bars on the 1600's are also 1 1/4"

......................My wife broke her hip last year, she says that by raising her feet to the top of the saddle bags she is more comfortable & in less pain on long trips. Something about taking pressure off her hip joint. That is why I was trying to mount pegs on the saddlebag crash bar...................................-Rich
