DIY Lowers Pattern

Does anyone have a good pattern for DIY Lowers? Or maybe a good untested idea for lowers.

Since the origional ones come within 1/2 inch of hitting the engine guards at full lock, do the bigger ones hit?

I have a pattern for the ones that I made for my bike. Look at my signature for a picture. If you like it just send me a private message with your mailing address and I will send you the pattern. I will suggest that you make them out of 1/4 inch Lexan. That pattern eliminated the head buffeting and does not touch the engine case guards.

I found that they reduce head buffeting, not eliminate it 100%.

Hey Idaho...those look great...not as bulky looking as others I've seen. I emailed you my address. An Exalt goes out to you. Thanx!

Thanx..I'm gonna try Idaho's pattern first...I like that they're smaller. By the way I love the Green paint scheme (my favorite color), what year is your Nomad.

My last bike was green.

Hey bobzinger my ride is a 2006. Yeah I love the green and silver as well.

Scion0 yeah there big but man they work like a champ. Really knock the wind buffeting way down and off my lower legs as well..mine dont come up to the windsheild. Dont care for that look personally. I like to feel a little wind on me so I made sure air could get between the lower and my windsheild. Especially during our hot 100+ days down here LOL.
