AIR CLEANER COVER ETCHING
Both of these ideas look and sound interesting. Let us know about the etching. I'll contact the guy on ebay to ask about the 1600 filter cover. The 1500 cover is smooth and flat compared to the 1600. Hope that doesn't make a difference.

AIR CLEANER COVER ETCHING
Sorry it took me so long to get back on the etching / engraving issue. I contacted my friend that runs an engraving business, he said to use the laser engraver the surface needs to be as flat as possible. The greater the curve the smaller the engraving. He also said that he has engraved on chrome and it is like engraving on silver plate. He coats the surface with a dark gray colored liquid and engraves over that. Is more or less tattoos the metal.
