If your curious about WHITE WALLS

1500's wont have a problem finding WWW from Maxis - Dunlop - or Metzler. 1600's may find it a bit difficult tracking down a rear tire. This is my second set (Maxis) my first set (Metz) thier both good tires but I think the Maxis roll better. Hope this helps those that are curious.

What kind of miles do you have on the maxis? The parts guy at my dealer put them on his 900 & i think he said he only got about 5xxx out of the rear. He said he probally won't go with them again.

I've only had them on for about a month 1/2. The Metz I had for about 9500 mikes before they started to fall apart on me.

Man that is one sharp scoot. Love the way it looks. There isn't a Harley that looks that good.

Its a sharp looking bike for sure, I wonder why your Metzeler only lasted 9500 miles, Ive got just over 15000 on mine, its ready to replace shortly, I'll try to get the season out of it if I can.

Thanks for the compliments. Those are COBRA PIPES in the photo. I'm not really sure why they started to fall apart, I had a piece of rubber the size of your palm missing and the rest of the tire was shredding down to the cord. My front looked as good as new.

What size Maxxi did you put on the rear. I found the front tire size OK but no 170/70-16 listed iwth Maxxi or Metzeler with the Wide WhiteWall. Sharp bike, I like the wide WW look!

My beast is a 1500 and it rolls on 150/80-16 f/r and thats the stock size for my bike. I havent found anyone that makes a wider tire with a 16" rim.
