Thanks to all for welcoming me aboard. I think I'm going to like it here.
From what I understand from Idaho's post, the lowers seem to affect the buffeting more than the windshield. Is that correct? Also, Idaho, you got a paper template of those lowers?
Also, on those Phatrisers...did you have to mess with any of the cables?

Welcome...I think you'll like it here...I belong to two other kawasaki forums, but this one is my favorite! I cut 1 1/4" off the top of my windshield cause I like to look over the top, and I guess I get a little buffeting, but usually it's when I'm doing 80+ or there's a strong wind. I don't really notice it too much.
Riser spacers and upgraded seat were the two big things I did to make the Nomad an all day cruiser. Also I had a custom backrest made for the little lady.

Any body know where the mechinically challenged can buy larger lowers? And it is a scientific fact that black nads are the fastest and coolest. lol

I purchased lowers for the Suzi blvd C50T that I'm trading in for my Nomad from Value Accessories. Not sure if they make them for the Nomad, but it's a shot and you can start there...

I just purchased a Premiux fairing for my 2005 nomad. The instructions that came with it did not expand on hour to wire the radio. Has anyone installed one of these? Where do I find the power source for my radio?

Radio sources inside headlight bucket. There is a double female bullet connector that is hot for the memory, a double female bullet conector that is the ground and then you need to find I believe if I can remember a blue wire with a red marker that you need to tie into for keyed power. I think it took me 20 minutes to install the fairing, the lowers however were a bear!
