Front axle

What size is the front axle (where a allen wrench would go)?
Does it unscrew clockwise or counter clockwise?

Front axle

I think it is 24mm. one of the wrenches in your tool kit fits it. Think outside of the box when you look for it. It is a six sided socket that fits into the hex nut.

Have to take a look. I think you're talking about using the plug wrench, yes? But, which way to turn when started, that is the puzzle.

I would imagine that it turns out counterclockwise like any bolt. Be sure to loosen the small screws in both forks that clamp the axle in before you try to move the axle. It probably is the plug wrench.
