It looks very interesting, youll have to give us a bit of a play by play of what is involved in making a fairing like that. It sure looks like a lot of work. Im curious as to the procedures involved.

How much is it gonna weigh? I'm guessing my TG fairing isn't more than 10#. Felt like 40 when I tried to carry the box inside when I got it.

I like it alot! I thought about making a frame mount after I found out what they wanted for the Roadglide fairing - and after looking at the Tourglide fairing I still wasn't sold. I have the Premuix on for now and I do have a first gen venture fairing and lowers that I might try to install, if I can get off my fat ass!! Actually - I had the Flu from Middle of Novmenber to the last week of January - and still have a nasty cough that won't quit!
Anywasy, very good job- can't wait to see the finished product! |

I too wonder what the finished product will weigh. The Voyager does have a beefier front end than the other 1700s to accomodate the Fairing. You might have to upgrade the springs up front for the extra weight.

Super job. You have to write up a detailed report once you have it completed. I also can't wait to see it finished.

Actually i doubt the faring will way much more than the glass windshield and hanger.Im sure the front end will feal lighter without the wind pressing on the front end
