Yeah... it looks like we are done for at least this week here...

PS: Do not know why the pic is turned sideways. It isn't on my computer and I cannot get it to rotate upright.

Temp when I started riding this morning was 18° and 32° when I finished. Put 110 miles on and crossed 2 bridges with icy decks. Finished for the season with 23,070 miles.

THis is my worst year in a long time. Got too used to the car. I actually rode to work today. I forgot how much time it cut off my commute.

A lot of miles you put on Gibby! I am not sure what I put on since I really didn't put the bike away for the winter last winter. I put it in the shed when we got 10in snow the first time but 2weeks later the snow had melted so pulled out and put it in the garage. Keep riding when I could after that. All I know is I had told a buddy of mine that I was hoping that the bike would hit 50,000 miles before I put it away for winter and the bike has about 67500 right now.

I'm looking at maybe three more days of riding before I'm done for the year . . . I don't know what this "season" talk is all about . . . if it's sunny and dry and I'm not at work I will ride . . . I track my mileage by the calendar year . . . The only reason I know I'll be done the second week of December is because the AF is sending me back to Alaska then . . . I may still try to give Ken and Nancy a call to see if they'll rent me a bike while I'm there . . . but seeing as I was the first rental of their "season" earlier this year over Memorial Day weekend, I'll probably just call to wish them a happy holiday . . .

I should close this year out with just over 17,000 total miles, 16,000 of which will be on my Voyager . . . Temps from 16 degree F to 115 degrees F . . . Not too bad for a guy who is forced to drive the company car to work each day . . . I would so much rather ride (trying to talk them into getting a bike when this car is due for replacement)!
