Well , i ran my mouth and bragged on our weather here in Florida too many times i guess.

15? YOU MEAN 15? This whole state would shut down. Half the people dont go to work when its below 50 .

What's wrong with 15? Nice winter temperature at times.

Standard joke when I was growing up in South Dakota. There's no ice on the water, it must be warm, let's go swimming. Now I have been down in the desert southwest too long. The cold doesn't bother me near as much as the people that were raised here. Still, as I get older I feel it more.

So you say the people who were raised in the desert southwest bother you quite a lot ;)

Thanks TC, only the ones that have never experienced the real winter weather. I saw one the other day in a parka complaining about the bone chilling cold, it was around 40 degrees. I had a very hard time keeping a straight face. For the ones of us that were raised up north, that is still shirt sleeve weather. Especially after a few weeks of below zero. The majority of the people down here wouldn't know what to do if it got that cold.

Up in that neck of the woods, I have been told if your summer comes on a weekend you guys will have a picnic. If not; then you'll just wait till next year. ;)

Went home to El Paso for a 4 day weekend. The temps were in the low 70's during the day and low 30's at night. Rode everyday and a couple of the evenings. Loved every moment of it.

markg, how long have you lived in AZ. ???
I think if I moved there the heat would kill me. I don't like it here when it gets to 80, I can't imagine riding in 100 degree, or worse, weather.

19 degrees this morning. I'll ride in the mid 30s but I have to be heading somewhere I know it is going to be warmer to ride in anything colder than that.

It's been in the high 30's (38 right now) in Yonkers, NY. Just got my Airlite engine guard chaps and tried 'em out today. They really work great! Now I just have to get a better pair of gloves or mittens. Don't really want to mess with electrics.
