I would put some Dynamat or Fat mat in the bag to get rid of the rattles. You don't want it to sound like the busted ass Caprice Classics that kids put 15 in subs in the trunk and rattle through the hood.

Can you hear anything from the speakers in the bags when you are riding ?

I had the OEM speakers on the trunk of my Voyager and could not hear them when riding.

No unfortunately I can't hear them when riding at all which makes me thing I wasted my time but when the bike isn't on it sounds pretty good. Not sure if a couple of 6x9s would be better or even able to be heard when riding.

That's why I went with a fairing with 4 speakers.

I might eventually try to mount some 6x9 or 6x8s in the upper fairing, fiberglass some holders or something that would fit, just dumped a lot of time and some money into this setup so figure I will keep it for awhile.

I found the stock system on the Voyager good enough for my needs and never needed the volume above 12 at any speed.
