I think i have a slight vibration and i am going to tear it down to lube the drive shaft . I thought about buying this and putting a new u-joint on it in advance just in case mine was bad so i could just use it and get the other one fixed for a spare.

Yes it will. There is also a replacement U-joint available. I believe the part is listed for a Kawasaki Prairie 400 ATV.
