Waving WTB Chuckster BAK for stock dogbowl

I have a 2014, 1700 Vaquero SE. Looking for a used Chucksters BAK. I dont want to shell out full price in case the valve train noise is unbearable and I need to return to stock. Shoot me a price if you have one to sell. Thanks.

I don't think it is valve train noise that is heard when you change the intake.
I think it is some kind of valve timing overlap or something similar.
When you hit 2500 to 3000 the noise is the most pronounced then dies away as the revs go higher. Think of it more like a V8 with a hot cam !

I am about ready to pull the trigger. I think most of the complainers like their bikes to sound like a goldwing. I want a rumbling gurgling V Twin like it is supposed to be, plus an extra 8 to 10 ponies never hurt. I have a Hemi Charger with Flowmaster super 44s and straight pipes out the back. Everyone bitched about drone at 2100 RPM. To me its like music and speaking of music I always ride with tunes on so I am pretty sure any added noise will likely be drowned out.

Unless you have your music on maximum the intake noise wont be drowned out.
