*SOLD*Chuckster's dual plate air intake system

I currently have chucksters dual plate intake system on my bike and I'd like to go to the single plate system, mostly for cosmetic reasons.

The dual plate intake system allows you the benefit of a free-flowing intake system, while allowing you to still use the stock "dog bowl" covers.

For more info on the system, check out chuckster's site.

If someone has the single plate and wants to do some sort of trade, let me know.

These plate are in great condition, and as those who have purchased from Joe can testify, his stuff is top notch!

I'll sell them for $65.

Can't you just use the inner plate with the K&N or Mr Gasket air cleaner?

I have the single plate, which should be the same as your inner plate, with the Mr G air cleaner attached to it.

But BE WARNED it will be considerably louder than with the dog bowl.

I too thought, when I bought the dual system, that it would be interchangeable. Not the case. The dual plate system is off center making the KN chrome outer plate unusable.

Just retap a hole on center and all is good. You will have to plug off the two holes where the idle tubes are, but that back plate will work.

As long as you are getting back to work Joe, how about making me a belt conversion kit for my 800 Drifter. ;)

I made one for the wifes 800 Classic, which is now my son's bike... To be honest and hate to say it, but Scoot Works has one that you can purchase.

It was a lot of work to make the one I have on the 800
