Part Fitment / Fork springs.

Hi everyone, I've noticed for a while now that a lot of sites list the Vaq. & Voyager. But not the Nomad. When buying parts I've been going with those listed under Voyager, is this right or is there no big difference between the 3 ? Also is anyone here using Race Tech fork springs ? I would like your opinion of them. I'm eyeing a set on Amazon ($99.99) & I asked the seller if they are made in the U.S. So far, no answer. Thanks.

When I have a parts question on cross year compatibility - I go to the parts pages at RonAyers.com. I look to see if the part numbers are Identical or if they may just be similar - different after the dash. I know it does not answer your question specifically but it may give you a place to research. Good Luck.

1700 Nomad and Voyager share many common parts, everything in the engine, clutch, transmission and belt drive is the same. But the forks are different, 43 mm instead of 45 mm for the voyager so I doubt the Racetech springs will fit.
I ran into this when developing the fork brace, Nomad has smaller fork sliders too.

I have Race Tech springs and emulators in my Voyager, and they're superb. So if you can find some that fit the smaller tube diameter - I'd very highly recommend them.
