Failed lithium battery

Unfortunately after 18 months and 27,000 km's of faithful service my SSB Powersport lithium battery has decided to drop a cell and only hold 10.2V... buggar !
I weighed all the pro's and con's and felt confident it would do the job. Even got a trickle charger built for lithium's.
What I think killed it in the end was the bike alarm which needs a constant current and which is what these type of batteries don't like.
SSB 360CCA LFP20CH-BS Ultralite was the model. Cranked like a demon up to the end.
And to stick the knife in a little further... they are aussie made...damn !

This is not a mud sling at the company as each biker has a different setup...mine just wasn't ideal for it.
I have a four post motobatt agm sitting in its place waiting to be hooked up :)
Cheers, Pete.

I'm on my 6th year with my Deltran Lithium battery.
The fact that yours failed so soon say it may have been a defect.
They should replace it.

Summit racing has the Deltran 480 cca for 209.00

Well fella's I guess the jokes on me... threw the battery out because I assumed a standard 12 month warranty...buggar !

Jllm with your Deltran do you have any parasitic draw, like an alarm or something else that needs power while the bikes sitting ?
The $$$ is attractive, especially for the 480 cca.

Yes, I have a marine radio that has a maintainer circuit.
I’ve let it set for 3 weeks and it starts right up.
I do have a Deltran maintainer but I’ve never used.
When I turn my key on my volt meter says 13.1.

Checked it, liked it, it's on the "get' list....eventually
Have another big trip end of 2018 so any weight saving is a must.
Cheers.
