Right now were heading to Fenwick CT which is in Old Saybrook. From there It depends I was thinking of heading north towards the CT/RI border and drop off Neil onto 95. Martin and I would then make our way up to the NW corner I was thinking along CT Rt. 49 which runs next to RI. Nothing is written in stone though.

I took an MHD (Mental Health Day) today and rode down to Hot Leathers in Windsor, CT to buy a vest. On the way back I stopped at Evalina's an had a couple of chili dogs. They were quite decent. I love their outdoor area; just sitting and looking over the pond.

That works for me. I can pick up 295 in RI and avoid 95.

I heard their vests run very small. What size did you end up getting?

That was a nice ride and is about 5-8 minutes from me. Curious how you went.

You can't buy a Hot Leathers vest online and end up with the right size. You actually have to go there and try them on.

It looks like I'm going to make it. See you at 12:30 at E's. If I read the posts correctly 4 or 5 bikes. It'll be nice to meet you all.

This ride wasn't planned. I was actually going to install head light visors, that is until I got a notice that my work expense check went through. Once I knew the cash was there I was out like a bat out of hell. Next time I take an MHD and plan on riding I will let you know.

Yes, I am still on "my ass hasn't gone to heaven" seat, although I must say that either my ass is getting used to it more or the seat is finally starting to beak in.

It depends on the cut. I only tried two on and one was XL while the other one was 2XL. They both fit the same. I ended up going with 2XL.

84 to 74 to 194

On the way back I stayed on 74 until I hit 44 and from there I took 169 back home. The whole ride was around 100 miles. The weather was great but very windy, especially on the highway.

I agree but I think this is true for many other brands as well. I got one from Amazon recently and 80% reviews said to get one size bigger. I did and the vest was one size too big. A lot of the Made in China crap is sized differently from one vest to another.
