V&H QUESTION

Installed my new baggers this week. took it for a ride today , about 50 miles.First time its been out since the baggers install. i noticed after i parked it that there was a oil substance in the pipe , looked to be mixed with some fiber glass from the packing.
Is this normal?
I wiped it out and took it for another ride , seems to be dry now. Do they put oil in that packing or oil inside the new pipes? anyone notice this with new baggers?

V&H QUESTION

I just talked to tech support at Vance and Hines and they told me that they put a film of oil in the inside of the pipe.
I put about 75 miles on it again yesterday and the oil is gone now.
Also , i didnt purchase a fuel prossesor and it is running great. Not running lean.Actually , it seems like it runs better.
One thing for sure , it now sounds like a 1600 V-TWIN should.

V&H QUESTION

Shouldn't be anything to worry about since it isn't still doing it. It does make the 1600 sounds like a real bike.
