Here's a stupid, but probably simple, question:

Exactly how many accessory power points are there on a Nomad?

I know the one in the headlight bucket and the one under the seat. Is there another one under the tank?

People keep mentioning it but, I've assumed they were talking about the one under the seat as Kawi says there's only two points (seat and headlight).

Thanks,

Russ

I think it depends on which model you have. On my 06 I believe it is just the 2.

.....Russ
I believe the 1600 have accessory plugs under the seat and in the bucket only. The 1500's have them under the seat and under the tank only. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Those accessory connections (I believe) are actually considered to be 2 connections, since each can handle two barrel connectors. In the headlight bucket, there is 2 +12v and 2 ground and under the seat there's 2 +12v and 2 ground. These are always hot, not switched.

And on the 1600s anyway, both connections are on the same 10 amp fuse. Don't overdo it if hooking several accessories to these connections.
