Do many members own other Bikes?

I love my Vaquero, however it would be nice to have another bike to mix things up. Something totally different and sporty such as a naked or sport. The Vaquero is powerful, but along the lines of a freight train (and I mean this in a very complimentary way). I am thinking of something much lighter for quick trips locally.

I am wondering what others may have for a second bike.

I have a Yamaha 1300 V Star Tourer. Much lighter than my Voyager was and easy to ride in traffic. It has bags, floorboards and a windshield, all stock.
With a Cobra intake and slip on muffler, Ivans ECU flash, the motor is making approximately 86hp, and close to 50pmg.

A bobbed, blacked out hotrod 1500 classic, Harley pullback risers, drag pipes, setup solo, too many mods to mention....superfast....her name is BlackHeart....
I test things on her before I mod my Nomad....shes my 400 mile and under bike when needed....
Engine is a mixture of 1500/1600 parts, leftover performance parts finds their way to her....

Friend is trying to trade me his 2014 Vaquero for my 2001 Thunder 1600 Nomad. His bike has 25,000 miles, while mine has close to 100,000....
I like the Vaqueros....alot....but not enough to loose my Nomad....
It fits, modified just the way I want it, totally reliable, dependable.
Would fill up with gas and hit the Rd. and ride from Fl. to Ca. tomorrow if I needed to, in complete comfort....and not worry about not making it. You can't even do that with a 2001 car/truck anymore....

Have a 2000 and 2004 Nomads both 1500s. The 2000 Nomad was suppose to be left alone without a lot of mods but that didn't last long. I am trying hard to hold off putting a trunk on it like I did the 2004 even though I have one ready for it

750 Nighthawk that will eventually be a walking dead clone. Have 95% of the parts and zero time to work on it, maybe this fall.

I am thinking of an adventure bike as this would open up a new world. I am short and not sure if this would be too tall for me especially in an offroad setting. A great second bike though. I cannot see having two or more cruisers except maybe a real classic. I was going to ask which one you ride the most but see that you have almost 600,000km on your voyager.

Ya, seat height is always a hot topic when discussing adventure bikes. There are lowering kits, adjustable seats and low seats for most but still not as low as a cruiser.
Adventure riding isn't really about racking on the miles, it's going places you otherwise can't get to with a touring bike. I spent a month in Labrador and Newfoundland on the KLR mostly dirt roads and ATV trails and had a blast.
I'll be heading to Tuktoyaktuk when the road opens, Voyager will be parked!
