Maybe you're not persuading me properly! ;)

DOWNED NOMAD!!!!

Oh no..
I'm glad everything turned out okay.

Let's not lose sight of the bigger picture here... You are a wife who rides beside, and not behind her husband and you went out, on your own time to clean your machine.

My friends are envious enough that my wife rides. Asking her to wash and wax her own bike is going too far. I can get her out there to wash and wax one time a year and that is the day before Bikes, Blues, and Bar-B-Que and thats only because she says she would be embarassed if her bike wasn't spotless for the parade.

Very glad to hear you're not badly hurt.

DOWNED NOMAD!!!!

faxxxy, I must admit.....I'm as bad as hubby when it comes to cleaning my bike!!! I am ALWAYS cleaning it and wax it once a month in the summer months when I ride it alot. I even confess.....I carry one of the mini California Dusters in my saddlebag!!!!

I figure that in order for ME to look good on the bike, my BIKE has to also look good and shine!!!!

I'm glad you are alright. It's all just stuff. I was adjusting my windshield with bike in neutral, turned the bars and it rolled off the kickstand. Lord knows how but I kept it from going down. But now, everytime I have to pop my wrist to loosen it up I wish I had let the bike go down. Especially since I rode it into a ditch last summer.

CheriAnn, What are you laffin at girl? I am dead serious, really!

My wife married a retrosexual, which is a real knuckel draggin type of guy and i take no BS what so ever from her.

She knows arguing with a fool is totally pointless, and so I get to do anything I want, from making real hide glue from dead animal skins, mixed with fish scales in her best brownie pan, to painting motorcycles in the shower..

This gas tank is in the shower.... If you look hard you can see some of the fixtures under the plastic..

This is what that tank looked like after that part of the paint

And this is done

Guys you need to get past the garage being your castle! Take over the bath room too!

Cherri,

Glad you are ok and the bikes didn't take to much abuse. Like everyone has said, they are replaceable.

LOL! There's an idea! I'll throw pillows/padded fenders over the side of our bikes when we park, like we do with the boat when we park at a dock!!!!
