Personal pet peeves

Drivers on two lane roads who feel compelled to speed up dramatically when I pass them. Once I'm by they slow right back down. I rarely have other cars do this when I am in a car. I've had cars that were going 50 speed up to 85. Used to bug the heck out of my son who was trailing me on a V Star 650. I'd go right on by them, but he really struggled to keep up. (He has a 1500 Classic now, so we just blow right by them. He can run my Nomad down.)

This is what window beaters on the end of your handlebars are for. For awhile I carred metal scrap like huge rusted bolts, nuts and assorted crap and I would chuck it at the car. Throwing at the window is dangerous and doesn't cause enough damage. chuck it at the rear quarter panel is major expensive. I've reframed from doing much of this anymore for sanity sake.
I've heard of guys dropping a fistful of ball bearings.

Have to agree with all of the pet peeves here. Another peeve is that person who merges onto the highway and makes a straight line for the left lane without looking, then slows to under the speed limit. When you look in their car, they are either on the cell phone or sitting with their seat back like they are laying down.

Cars that just have to immediately change lanes and cut in between you and your buddy riding..... for no reason. :(" title="" border="0"/>

I hate people who, at the last minute, change lanes accross two lanes to get into the left hand turn lane. Some butt hole from Canada did that today. The ol' Streble horn got his attention.

I was on a ride today with about 30 other bikes. We were heading down US 60 into Wickenburg and a couple of Harleys not with our group passed us. One of these "gentlemen" spit out a mouthful of Skoal and it hit square on the windshield of the second bike in our group, ridden by a woman. She had chaw all over the front of her helmet and faceshield. Freakin' uncouth.

I had a lady pull out in front of me yesterday. She looed like a deer caught in the headlights when she saw me and read her lips saying I'm sorry. They're not used to seeing bikes on the road here yet this year.

That is the hit 'n run action of a coward. If you had gotten his license plate you could filled a written complaint against him for assault. There are ways to fight back.
