I wear a half helmet... I can't stand to wear a full helmet, because it makes me feel like I have my head in a box. I like to feel the wind... I wouldn't wear one if I didn't have to though; Here in Arkansas, helmets are optional... So sometimes I go without.

Full-face when its cold, 1/2 when its hot, and choice-of-the-day in between, tending to the 1/2.

I have both a full and a half. Use the half about all of the time.

We have discussed this before. I own and have tried several styles of helmets but I prefer the 1/2.

1/2
I do have a full face flip up, but like dlarue, I don't like to wear it. Feels like I'm driving my cage. There is no helmet law in Colorado, and when its hot in the summer I sometimes ride without, although I know I shouldn't. :/

Beanie..Don't like my ears covered. Feel I am not aware of my surroundings with anything else. Helmets optional in Florida, but never leave home without one on... Ever have a pebble kick up and hit you riding 75 MPH?

I wear the half helmet most of the time, but when the temps are below 35 I switch to the full face.

I have used a 3/4 for most of my life, but after seeing some particularly gruesome photos of the lower front of people faces missing, I started wearing a full face.

Don't particularly like it, but the photos had that much impact on me.

I used to wear 3/4 in the old days. We wore 1/2 last year. I just bought full face this year. It will be the first time I have ever worn a full face. I think it is beter because of the more protection. I will have to wait another 6 to 8 weeks to find out. Winter!
Just my opinion but don't see how anyone can ride without a helmet and not be parinoid.

::) 3/4 Most of the time. When it gets hot I switch to 1/2.
Tried full w/flip up but as others have stated, too confining.
Very, very rare for me to ride without a helmet. And in pa. its optional. I wore a helmet in the 60's and most of the folks back then that I rode with only wore them on long rides or trips and
always in the cold weather. I'm always amazed at people in cold weather who will wear a mask & cloth hat but shun a helmet?
Or the guy decked out from head to toe in heavy expensive leather on a cold day, with nothing on their bald head? (must be a macho thing) ???

The cool thing about my 1/2 helmet is it fits in my saddle bag.
I do go for the full face when it's cold though.
