Thumbs Up

Going to get them, I had to get home around midnight on one trip and I kept hitting some cold air pockets and had a bit of fogging but nothing that was a problem, I think they are so air tight, I get very little wind noise. The fit is great and I like the chin strap closure system. Will get the little woman a Nolan when I can get her to get on the bike .............. more than the one time she has been on it. The communication should be compatible then. Should I name the bike after her??? Just asking ? or is that asking for trouble ??? What price were you quoted on the system Norm?

No exact price quoted, as I am still a little confused as to what I want / need, Basic system, basic system 2 etc. As the dealer is a long time friend he knocks off a fair bit off of everything I get from him.

Jeeze Brad why don't you tell us how you really feel !!!
And I can only think that your HJC CL-31 3/4 helmet is so quiet because you have such a fat head!!! Try something that fits.
I never thought I'd ever use this icon but ..... ;)

I have a Scorpion EXO-100. 3/4 with a drop down sheild and zip out neck protector. Very comfortable and the fact that it can be configured differently for 3 seasons is a big plus. Not sure how good it would be for winter. On the other hand, I don't ride when my hands freeze to the grips. :)

I use my full face modular once the temperature drops into the forties and below over the winter. During the rest of the year I like to use a HJC AC 3/4 helmet with a storm curtain which I can remove if it is really hot. They are both noisy and I wear ear plugs if riding more than an hour.

Got a full face flip up HJC CL-Max now and use it for cooler weather. Love it.

Personally in town I don't like the quiet helmets at all. I want to be able to hear what's going on around me. I started out wearing a 3/4 helmet in town and one day didn't hear a fire truck siren until he was way closer than I'd like it to be. My bike isn't even loud (run baffles and Cobra pipes). Highway is a different story.

I don't wear one, have a half helmet in the saddlebag if I intend on going on the interstate, which is rare.

If you can't hear a fire truck siren that either you have a hearing problem or the pipes are louder than you think. Just saying. I bad tinnitus and still can here sirens, but then my bike is a lot quieter than yours, although I didn't have a problem with the nomad either. Get your hearing checked. ;)
