I'm not a supersticious person, so I don't believe in the third accident coming. While we can't control accidents, I do believe that everyone does their best to prevent them. Accidents are accidents, so let's not blame anyone.

I always keep in mind that the next accident could be mine.
Trip, this was the thrid accident. CJ, Wilson and now Ring.
Hmm... didn't know about Wilson. What happened?

Still not supersticious... LOL.

Forget the superstition!! I don't buy into any of that crap. Geeze if you want to get technical,.... I guess maybe this is the forth accident of late. Maybe I started the ball rolling with my near "write off" I had last fall when I went down on my last day of insurance. NOT !!!
I'm sure you don't buy into this superstitious BS either Scott but rest easy you are not to blame. I'm also sure that Stan wasn't serious either.

If you want to believe in something, believe that things in life happen for a reason. Maybe it's too wake all of us up to the fact, that it can be anyone of us. And that we need to be as careful as possible every day! Be prepared for the unexpected. I saw this when I was about 19-20 yrs. old, and driving on a logging road on Vancouver Island. It's stayed with me ever since.
Be safe everyone!!

Ricky, I'm not superstitious as well. It was just a ribbing for Scott. Hopefully everyone will have a good and safe season this year on the trips to National and the Redwood rallies.

Oh I realize that Joel ! That's why I said "I'm also sure that Stan wasn't serious either."
Boy a guy has to watch what he says. It's either misunderstood or they're point/statement is missed all together. No worries Joel I wish everyone safe "Happy Trails" :)

Gosh this is really starting to bug me! I think it's time to take a "Self Evaluation" now that riding season is here.... Realize that motorcycling is vicariously dangerous and always, always plan accordingly my fellow bikers.

Just imagine if we were all starting to be Sky Divers.... how many times would you double check your chute???!! PLENTY I'm guessin'. One incident of the chute not opening = death.

One head on collision with a car on a bike = most likely death... Think about it today and everyday.... Thank goodness, Scott, Greg and Steve are ok....

Definately wasn't enough for a guy west of here who died from sky diving. At least the fall from a motorcycle is only a couple of feet and then you can roll or slide. Jumping from a perfectly good airplane never made sense to me. It's not the fall that will kill you but the sudden stop.

I think in some ways the same could be said about motorcycles. It is often what you hit along the way after parting company with your bike that determines your fate.
It never ceases to amaze me the speed the super bike racers are going when the lose it and they get up and walk away. Yes they have the gear and other than another bike there is little to slam into, but it still is impressive.
