I've seen a few moose over the years, and I have witnessed a few getting killed by cars or trucks. I live in the country so we have all the usual critters. The ones that scare me the most are the bears that come thru the yard about every other week.
Not to mention all those baby Sasquatches you're going to have on your patio, for feeding them.

people do pick up the fresh ones, the mechanic is one of them. We'd see a fresh one and call him, but only if its cold outside other wise they spoil quick.
When I was working at the college deer would get hit pretty often I call my brother or the guy from middles would take it home after we gut it behind a storage building.

Da Bears make a larger mess than the Squatch. At least so far.

That sounds sanitary.

Well if they would clean up afterwards, I would give them the combination to mine.

One was hit within a minute before I got there on my run this afternoon. I called the mechanic but he was on a run also. The deer was trying to lift its head and blood was running out of its mouth. It was a goner. BTW this was on the edge of town.

Its always nice if you get there right away, especially if its alive. That would be a good bbq later on in the summer.

Next time carry some rope so you can tie it up on the bumper.

Kind of ticked the boss off back several jobs ago when I took one into the shop and hung it on the hoist and had someone come in to quarter it out while I was working. Told him the next time it happened not to worry about it as I would just do it myself afer I turned around and went home with it.
