Deer Season!

They should open the season on them all year round and 24/7. That would just about exterminate them. I have hit one with my truck and one with my car this year alone. Kill them all before they kill us. :(" title="" border="0"/>

Deer Season!

I always assume that there is no such thing as one deer. I see one I look for the others and usually find them. I will be going out with my long bow in a couple of weeks to work on lowering the population on a kill permit and of course fill the freezer. Here in Northern VA we have had a lot of tree huggers converted to "Kill them all and let God sort them out" as they watch their ornametal shrubs and trees being eaten. Of course they call them large urban rats rather than Bambi or deer.

The deer have started reappearing on the roads here in Northern Virginia so be extra careful.
I took one out of a yard with my longbow last week. When I brought the deer to the truck the lady of the house had a screaming fit at the deer. She was yelling things like; "You got what you deserved. You ate my flowers." Then she turned to me and said, " Come back anytime and kill them all." I was taken aback by her vehemence and was sort of glad she didn't have a bat in her hand or she might have started beating the crap out of my fresh meat. By the way, you haven't lived if you haven't had fresh backstraps cooked over a fire or on the grill. I have converted vegetarians by feeding them fresh backstraps.

Deer Season!

I'm not even safe coming down my driveway here in Georgia! They are constantly going through my front or back yard and are all through the subdivision. Unfortunately, we can't even shoot them with a bow. I could sure keep my freezer full if we could. I did have a Sheriffs deputy tell me to go ahead and shoot them with my bow and just claim that I was target practicing and the dumb thing ran in front of the arrow.
