Dropped the Nomad

On my way home from buying my Nomad I stopped in the grocery store parking lot on a slope. That is the exact moment I realised I was too short to reach the ground on a slope & over she went. Picked it up, forgot the sidestand & had to ask a passerby to put it down for me. Embarrassed as can be, I went home & sent the seat to Mean City Cycles. Much easier to handle now that I can reach the ground!

On my Volusia I was going to an early morning class, stopped to get smokes & couldn't figure out why it was laying so far over when I got off...went in to get smokes, came out & then realised it was because I forgot the sidestand. Lucky for me that was a light bike that I just picked up like I meant to do it & left. I have since quit smoking so I won't have that problem again!

Dropped the Nomad

Well, I dropped mine, again, at a full stop, in the garage the other day. Glee and I just returned from a ride, all went well, and I pulled into the garage after she dismounted. And . . . I forgot to put down the sidestand (or I didn't get it all the way down), and the bike fell over. Duh!

Dropped the Nomad

I dropped the 01 nonce, and crashed it once, I crashed the 06 but never dropped it yet. In the crash the bike was wedged upright or I would have dropped it.
