Here is the latest update of my condition. My road rash has healed up quite nice. The swelling in my hands and knees is also much better. The ribs, well their still there but they are improving also. The internal damage has not gotten any worse and that's good. I've lost about twenty pounds so far. I went to my "Personal" HMO Doctor. today.What a Waste of time ! I'm there for a follow up to the accident. And she doesn't even check the ribs,hands or knees.Then proceeds to write prescriptions based on old info and preventive action. Pill Pushers!!! I should start looking for a new bike and heck with the quacks. I'm still very glad to be alive though. DJ

Glad to hear that you are getting better DJ. I will guess the weight loss program is not one that you would recommend. Looking for another ride will be good therapy, you don't have to buy one right away. Hope you have continued good luck with the healing process.

Thanks Mark, Perhaps the way I started the weight loss program I would not recommend, but while I was in the hospital they found out some things that require me to change my diet.So this is helping me with loose some more weight. Of course my wife is having a field day with this new menu. We take care of our Granddaughter during the day. So it seems that we are on similar diets,without the strained vegetables of course " No Peas either!. Thank you for staying in touch though the forum. All the best to you.
